This pull request updates buildroot from 2019.11.1 to 2024.08.1, and the kernel from 5.4.y to 6.6.y. It also follows recent advice to use pinctrl instead of sysfs for GPIO. It removes the sysfs GPIO interface and instead includes pinctrl in the generated image.

…fault configs to be compatible with the latest buildroot structure (some DTS files have been moved to a broadcom directory, BR2_PACKAGE_LIBCURL has changed to BR2_PACKAGE_LIBCURL_CURL). Remove rpi-firmware-custom in favor of using buildroot's rpi-firmware.

…e the legacy curl package option to the modern option.
…le scriptexecute with the same number of threads as the system has cores.
…-gpio. The sysfs GPIO interface no longer works in the 6.6.y kernel so rpi-pinctrl can be used instead.
